Guarantee Policy
(Or: when bad things happen to good fish.)No matter what precautions we take there still remains the small chance of loss during transit. Shipping perishable goods sight unseen is a process based on trust. So, to gain yours, we:
- Guarantee live arrival plus five days in your aquaria.
- Pledge to refund at full purchase price or replace any fish lost during this time period.
- Leave the choice of refund or replacement to you.
- Stand by our guarantee even if shipping company fails to meet their arrival time.
- Cannot refund the cost of shipping or pay for shipping replacement fish.
For your part, you the customer, must:
- Accept and receive the shipment at its scheduled arrival time.
- Note and report any damage to the exterior of boxes to shipping company
- Carefully follow acclimation procedures.
- Report any losses within the five-day period.
- Retain and freeze dead fish or take digital photo for possible verification.
